Sarwanam has forty regular members who are also theatre artists.
The Board of Members comprise of:
1. Ashesh Malla-Director
Ashesh Malla is the founder and director of Sarwanam. A renowned Nepali poet
and fiction writer, he is also the pioneer of street theatre in Nepal. He works as a lecturer in Padma Kanya Campus and is the life member of Royal Nepal Academy. He has published many books of poems, stories and dramas. Also a noted playwright, he has been felicitated with many awards like Sajha
Puraskar in 1984, MOTI Award for contribution on Nepali Literature in 1985
and 'MUSHYACHU' Award for Play Writing & Acting.
2.Ommani Sharma- Coordinator
Ommani Sharma is the founder member of Sarwanam. A prominent theatre artist
and story writer of Nepal, he holds a Masters degree in Nepali language and Literature and diploma in law. He has acted in more than 150 dramas inside
and outside Nepal.
3.Indra Ratna Bajracharya- Treasurer
Indra Ratna Bajracharya is a senior street drama activist. He was the
president of Nepal Jaycees of Kathmandu district. He runs a visual
production company under the name, "Namaste Production House".
4.Sabitri Kakshapati (Member Secretary)
Sabitri Kakshapati is a lecturer of Nepali Literature in Padma Kanya
Campus. She is also a writer and a theatre critic.
5.Ramhari Khadka (Member)
Ramhari Khadka is a theatre actor and a theatre trainer and has been
associated with Sarwanam since 15 years.
6.Bhinmaya Prajapti (Member)
Bhinmaya Prajapati is a theatre actor and a theatre trainer and has been
associated with Sarwanam since 12 years.
7.Sampada Malla (Member)
Sampada Malla is a young writer and a theatre worker. She is currently doing
her Masters in Film making in Delhi, India.
Subhash Ghimire
(Director of International Relations and Proposal Writer/Consultant)
Subhash is a senior year student studying Political Science at St. Olaf
College in Minnesota. He comes from a remote village called Arupokhari in
Gorkha District, Nepal. His passion lies in public interest and human rights
law. He is planning on going to law school after college.He also writes for
Huffington Post.
